Wind energy redefined

. EnerKíte is developing flying wind turbines - automated kite systems that harness the steady, powerful wind above the blade tips of today's wind turbines. More than 5000 full-load hours and halved generation costs are expected to make kite power a low-cost, utility-grade source of electricity. In development are portable wind storage containers with 100 kW for self-supply in island and grid operation followed by systems in the MW range.
