Task Force: Internationalization

The support of BEN members in their internationalization projects is one of the statutory tasks of BEN. For this purpose, Task Force Internationalization (TFI) was founded. On the one hand, the TFI is to make the already existing export promotion instruments of the federal government, the federal states, and the EU Commission more accessible to the BEN members and, on the other hand, to plan and implement their own projects. These include the Urban Energy Forum and Urban Innovation.

Activities

Urban Energy Forum

The Urban Energy Forum is a side event of the annual Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue. The top issues of the global energy transition are discussed with players from politics, business and science. More information at www.urbanenergyforum.com/.

Urban Innovation

Urban Innovation brings Berlin-based companies and start-ups together with decision-makers, investors, and sales, and business partners from New York, London, Singapore and Beijing. More information at www.urban-energy-mobility.com.

Market development trips

Based on the results of the task force meetings, we plan joint market development trips abroad. In the past, trips to South Africa, Poland and Turkey have taken place for this purpose, including a trip to accompany the Berlin Senator for Economic Affairs.

Joint trade fair stands at home and abroad

BEN organizes joint fair booths in Germany as well as abroad for its member companies. The focus here is on trade fairs that are considered particularly important and relevant for the BEN-members, such as Intersolar, EU PVSEC, and Enlit Europe (formerly European Utility Week).
